The feel of Kava is cosy old school charm. The dimly lit interior allows for a great reprieve and escape from the cares of the world for that hour or so while you have your meal.
Kava serves up a good brunch menu with the Hash Benedict and Kava Brekky starring. Not to take away from the rest of the menu, the rest of the food items are great and there would be something to keep everyone happy. Kava is also open for dinners and I hear their pizzas are a massive hit! They are pretty much packed out every night and takeaway orders are plentiful.
Coffee-wise, Kava utilises the Synesso Sabre and Mazzer Robur E combo. Owners Hammond and Agus have chosen the award-winning Forte blend which consists of beans from Indian, Colombia and Ethiopia. Full-bodied, a hint of spice and earthy, the Forte blend is definitely a crowd-pleaser. They also do a stunning cold drip coffee.
